Hello Folks!
It had been a while since I did something in music, which is one of my biggest passions. In recent months, I was so caught up with work and my photography that music took a back seat. But over the years, I have come to realize that when your mind is under extreme stress and you need a way to get back your sanity, nothing works better than listening to or creating some music. So I pulled up the music authoring software on my computer (I use Mixcraft6) and got to work on an amazing track by Ustad Rashid Khan. The original track is titled “Rakho Rakho Re” from Rashid Khan’s album “Boitokhe Robi” which is a compilation of classical renditions of Tagore’s Rabindra Sangeet. I love classical fusion so using the first part of the track which is mainly the “aalaap”, I blended in some dub-step beats and other styles to put together a fusion piece which to my ears at least, sounds quite nice! 🙂 So here’s the AniMixed version of “Rakho Rakho Re”. Hope you like it! 🙂
