Despite the fact that Japan is one of the most advanced and developed countries in the world, signs of its fascinating past linger on in various parts of the country. In the heart of the glittering metropolis of Tokyo, you will often come across such symbols in the most unexpected places and all you can do is admire and wish there was much more of the same still remaining. Many newer restaurants and bars are constructed in such a way so as to give them a retro look, taking its customers back to the times gone by. Here is one photograph I took of one such bar in the Ebisu area of Tokyo.
